Marcella Cucchiara, MS, LPC
Licensed Psychotherapist
Marcella is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and psychotherapist based in York, PA. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is the founder of Creating Consciousness Therapy, PLLC, a private practice dedicated to deep, transformative healing.
Marcella’s clinical experience spans both agency and private practice work, including Rost & Associates, where she developed a depth-oriented approach to supporting individuals in understanding emotional patterns, relationships, and internal conflicts.
Marcella’s clinical approach is rooted in an Internal Family Systems (IFS) and a somatic framework, integrated through a psychodynamic lens. By creating a space that feels safe, patient, and non-judgmental, therapy unfolds at a thoughtful pace, with clarity and insight emerging through a collaborative and relational process. Focusing on the interconnectedness of the mind and body, she helps clients navigate the complexities of their internal landscapes and uncover the unconscious patterns that shape their present lives. This work is well suited for those who feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or long-standing patterns and are looking for a deeper, reflective, and compassionate therapeutic experience.
Outside of the therapy room, Marcella is a mother and a creative spirit. Whether she is exploring mindfulness or engaging in creative projects, she remains committed to the intersection of consciousness and connection.
Michael Cucchiara
Recovery Coach | Somatic & IFS-Informed
Michael is a Recovery Coach, the Co-Founder of Creating Consciousness, and the author of the "Recover from Life" monthly column. Through his writing and coaching, Michael provides raw, resource-driven insights exploring the intersection of trauma, physiology, and recovery. His work is centered on answering the core human question: “Why do we do what we do, when we know what we know?”
Having successfully moved through his own journey of being clean from hard drugs, Michael understands the exhausting cycle of survival where actions no longer align with intentions. He helps move clients away from the traditional model and toward a lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic regulation. By shifting from a state of internal shame to one of curiosity, Michael helps clients meet their wounded parts and limiting beliefs with deep compassion. This approach encourages individuals to question their old narratives, building the profound self-awareness often needed to quiet the inner critic.
Michael’s approach is rooted in the belief that the same fire and obsession once required to maintain compulsive behaviors is actually a reservoir of untapped power. Once the nervous system feels safe enough to stop fighting itself, that relentless energy can be redirected toward any endeavor you choose. Through his coaching and his monthly writing, Michael provides the structured, non-judgmental space needed to help others move from survival to a life that feels worth staying clean for.
