Coaching services are non-clinical, self-pay, and not covered by insurance. Unlike therapy, coaching cannot be billed to insurance, and a superbill will not be provided. Sessions focus on personal growth, lifestyle, and wellness support and do not constitute therapy.
Many clients choose to pay privately for therapy which allows for greater privacy, flexibility in treatment, and freedom from insurance requirements.
If you would like to use insurance, I am in-network with several insurance plans including Highmark, Capital, and Aetna.
If I am out-of-network with your insurance plan, you may still be able to receive partial reimbursement. We can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network benefits.
We recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your deductible and reimbursement rates.
You have the right to receive a ‘Good Faith Estimate’ for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. For more information, please see our Terms of Service.
If you have questions about fees or insurance coverage, we are happy to help you think through what option might work best for you.
Therapeutic Modalities
-
IFS is based on the understanding that we all have different inner experiences or “parts.” You might notice a part of you that feels confident and capable, another that feels anxious or uncertain, and perhaps one that tends to be self-critical. Rather than trying to get rid of these parts, IFS invites us to get curious about them and understand what they’re trying to protect or communicate.
This approach is used to help you develop a more compassionate, balanced relationship with yourself. It can be especially supportive if you find yourself overthinking, feeling internally conflicted, or disconnected from your emotions.
Over time, this work can help you feel more grounded, authentic, and empowered — allowing you to move through daily life with greater clarity, self-trust, and inner steadiness.
-
Gestalt is a present-focused approach that emphasizes awareness and lived experience. Rather than analyzing from a distance, it invites you to notice what’s happening right now, in your thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and responses. Often, meaningful shifts happen simply through bringing gentle attention to what’s already here.
This approach may be used to support greater grounding, authenticity, and emotional presence. It can be especially helpful if you find yourself spending a lot of time in your head or feeling disconnected from your felt experience.
-
Psychodynamic therapy focuses on understanding how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns shape how you feel, relate, and respond in the present. Rather than pathologizing, this approach invites curiosity about the emotional themes that keep repeating beneath the surface.
This approach may be used to help make sense of long-standing patterns, reactions, or relational dynamics that feel confusing or hard to shift. By bringing these patterns into awareness, you can begin to respond with more choice, clarity, and self-understanding in your daily life.
-
Somatic Experiencingis a body-centered approach that helps you tune into the wisdom of your nervous system. Rather than focusing only on the story of what happened, this work invites you to slow down and notice physical sensations, signals, and responses, supporting your body in releasing stress and finding greater ease. This approach may help to restore a sense of safety and regulation, especially if you’ve felt anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from your body. By gently attending to what’s happening within, your system can begin to settle and respond with more flexibility and resilience.
